[00:00:03] - Before you install your Brady LED sign projector, there are some important things you need to consider when selecting a mounting location.
[00:00:11] - Choose an area with reasonable airflow, that's clear of flammable materials, and has access to a standard power source.
[00:00:18] - It's best to mount the projector centered above the projected image.
[00:00:22] - Be sure the mounting structure can hold about ten times the weight of the projector.
[00:00:27] - Next, consider your mounting height and lens angle.
[00:00:30] - These are the two biggest impacts on the appearance of your projected sign.
[00:00:34] - In general, the higher the projector is from the floor, the larger the image.
[00:00:38] - The wider the lens angle, the larger the image.
[00:00:42] - The smaller the image, the brighter it will be.
[00:00:45] - For additional guidance, reach out to Brady Support or your local sales rep.
[00:00:52] - Begin by attaching the yoke to the fixture using the provided hardware.
[00:00:57] - To install the gobo, remove the retaining ring on the gobo holder.
[00:01:02] - This will vary by projector.
[00:01:04] - Either rotate the threaded ring counterclockwise or squeeze the pins of the wire ring together and remove it.
[00:01:13] - If a gobo is already present, carefully tip the projector forward and allow the gobo to fall into your hand.
[00:01:21] - Insert the desired gobo into the holder.
[00:01:24] - Replace the retaining ring in the holder, evenly pushing the gobo all the way back.
[00:01:37] - Finish by screwing the lens tube back over the gobo holder.
[00:01:44] - When you're ready, mount the fixture into position using your preferred method.
[00:01:51] - Always install a safety cable, anchoring the projector to the mounting structure.
[00:01:55] - Plug in the projector and check the position of your image on the floor.
[00:01:59] - It's likely you'll need to focus and adjust the rotation of your projected image.
[00:02:04] - First, focus your image by twisting the projector lens in and out.
[00:02:09] - On first use, it might take many outward turns to reach focus.
[00:02:13] - If your image needs to be rotated, unplug the projector and unscrew the lens tube.
[00:02:21] - Turn the gobo holder to rotate the image.
[00:02:24] - Replace the lens tube so it's snug against the projector.
[00:02:29] - Plug in the projector and recheck your image.
[00:02:32] - Readjust your focus, if needed, and secure the lens position by tightening the lock ring.
[00:02:39] - If using in a wet environment, make sure there is an O-ring seal between the lock ring and the lens tube and the lens tube and the projector.
