The Labguru by Cenevo team knew their app needed an integrated labeling system that could cut out extra steps while still performing reliably — all while being able to withstand extreme lab conditions.
Initial tests with other printers proved unsuccessful. Furthermore, the printing process was slowed by time-consuming manual data checks and a complex import/export routine just to format spreadsheets. At this point, Labhandy wasn’t just looking for a supplier, they needed an expert partner who understood the type of integration needed for a successful solution.

Recognizing Brady’s deep expertise in laboratory identification and software solutions, Labguru by Cenevo began discussions to find the ideal printers to integrate into their software using Brady SDK. The Brady team worked closely with them to understand the specific challenges, from the technical integration of the software to the mechanical integration of the printers.

Brady provided a complete, reliable solution that met every one of Labhandy’s stringent requirements.
Three portable printers: M211, M511 and M611 were selected for their reliable print engines and ability to be seamlessly integrated into the Labhandy mobile app thanks to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi capabilities. Their intuitive design and consistent performance ensured they could keep up with the automated workflow.
With these high-performance printers also came a wider selection of specialized lab labels — including materials engineered to adhere to already-frozen surfaces and withstand long-term cryogenic storage and exposure to harsh chemicals.
