TLS 2200 Firmware Upgrade v4.04

TLS 2200® Device Loader Instructions:

This program will upgrade your TLS 2200 v4.0X to v4.04.

Note: This will not upgrade v3.0X to v4.04. If you wish to upgrade a TLS2200 v3.0x to v4.04 please contact Brady Technical Services at:

Loader.exe and tlsware.bin must be in the same folder to upgrade the TLS2200 firmware.

1. Connect the TLS 2200 serial cable to the TLS 2200 and to the PC serial port (COM1).

2. Turn on the TLS 2200.

3. Press and hold Function key and press the Setup key (SETUP/BARCODE) on the TLS 2200 to get into the setup menu.

4. Press the down arrow key until the cursor is over “Other”. Press ENTER.

5. Cursor is now over "Ver. Download”.

6. Press Enter button. You should see the message "Waiting Download Firmware".

7. Run the "Loader.exe" program.

8. Click on the TLS 2200 printer image.

9. At the next screen click "Download".

10. The loader program and the TLS 2200 display will change to indicate downloading is in progress.

11. The TLS 2200 will then indicate when to turn the machine off and to restart.

12. The TLS 2200 should display "v4.04" at start-up.
