BMP71 Firmware Upgrade 1.7

To Downloaded the update Utility:


1. Download the file BMP™71 Update Utility Installer.zip to the directory of your choice.

2. In that directory, right-click the BMP™71 Update Utility Installer.zip icon and select Extract All…

3. Depending on your operating system, you will be prompted to extract the files to a specified directory.

4. Browse to a specified directory, or leave the default directory.

5. Follow the prompts to extract the downloaded files.

6. When the window opens, double-click on the BMP71 Installer folder.

7. Double-click the setup.exe icon. This will start the installer.

8. Follow the prompts to install the software.


Included in Upgrade:


1. Fixed blank label feed between print jobs if the jobs were queued while the printer was off.

2. Fixed strobe timing issue which caused print head damage.

3. Bold disabled in menu if the selected font does not support bold option.

4. No shutoff if on AC option added to config menu.

5. Max queued print jobs increased from 10 to 60.

6. Configuration utility now Windows 7 compatible.

7. Cancel print job option added. (Press shift+alt+print)

8. Fixed memory allocation causing problems with opening ttf files.

9. Added Chinese characters to screen fonts. This corrected some issues with missing characters in the UI.

10. Added separate search function for jamo to hangul. Eliminates the need to sort the lookup strings.

11. Incorporated latest pinyin to hanzi lookup file.

12. Swapped position of the jamo on the 'E' keyin the UI to match the keyboard.
