Continued growth leads to new hires, global expansion for Brady’s brand protection business

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (June 12, 2012)Brady a leading supplier of anti-counterfeiting and brand protection solutions, announced today that it has expanded its global operations by adding two new management positions to its brand protection business. Paul Zarling has been appointed as the company’s director of global brand protection, and Mark Warn has been appointed as the global sales manager of brand protection.

This announcement, which comes in the wake of the company’s recent addition of secure production space, reaffirms Brady’s continued growth in the brand protection market. Zarling and Warn will collaborate with existing team members to expand Brady’s global infrastructure and enhance the company’s authentication and product integrity solutions for Fortune 500 brand owners.

“The new positions mark a significant milestone in our long-term commitment to the brand protection business,” said Jim Gross, vice president and general manager for Brady North America. “Paul and Mark bring insight and experience that will be integral in driving growth and enhancing the products and services we offer to brand owners around the globe.”

As director of global brand protection, Zarling will be responsible for driving the business strategy and building the global leadership team. Zarling has been with Brady for five years, and has demonstrated success in a series of progressive marketing assignments. Most recently, he served as the product and segment director for Brady North America. Prior to joining Brady, Zarling held various roles in business development, consulting and healthcare sales. Zarling holds a BA from Martin Luther College and an MBA from Marquette University.

Warn will be serving as the new global sales manager for brand protection. In this role, he will be responsible for accelerating growth for the brand protection business and managing the global sales team. Warn has been with Brady for 12 years and most recently served as a global strategic account manager for the die-cut business. He has progressive sales experience and has been actively involved in developing brand protection solutions for Brady’s top-tier technology companies. Warn holds a BA from Eastern Washington University.
